The concept of quantum medicine or quantum therapy sounds like science fiction, however, at this time when scientific paradigms are changing, it is inevitable that Western medicine adopts new ideas. The most recent physical theories reveal that matter is not as we thought, something immutable and “solid” at all, but that it is made up of small universes in the form of atoms that in turn decompose into protons, photons and neutrons opening inwards a field of infinite possibilities.
Basically, quantum medicine retakes the knowledge that the ancient Chinese already had about the body’s energy meridians, or Hindu Ayurvedic medicine that recognizes the need for a complete treatment that encompasses mind, body and spirit to achieve healing.
That is to say, to return to a holistic and integral medicine that in the East they have been carrying out for millennia but that, however, in the West has been slowly taking up again in the last decades. In other words, in order to cure our body of diseases it is also necessary to cure our soul, our emotions and our mind.
